Using BillPlex since before Pro? Then Pro is yours for life, free, once you open the 2.0 update. If your household was set up before Pro, everyone in it has Pro too. It’s a thank-you we chose to give for being here early, and we do our best to keep it with you, even on a new phone.

Paying changes nothing about your data
There is no account to create and no password to invent — Pro or not.
Everything you record stays on your own devices and moves straight between them. Your expenses, income and names are never kept on a server of ours.
We can’t see what you spend. That was true while BillPlex cost you nothing, and it stays true after you pay.
If Pro ever ends, nothing is deleted. Everything you have built stays and keeps working — only the Pro extras pause.
Who has Pro, and for how long
Here before Pro
Every phone that already had BillPlex before Pro arrived keeps Pro for life, free, once it opens the 2.0 update — the owner’s and every member’s. A phone that doesn’t have it by 2.0 doesn’t get it on a later update. It’s that phone’s own, so leaving the household doesn’t take it away. On the main device it covers the whole household, like a one-time purchase; on a member’s phone, just that phone.
New phone, same free Pro
Free Pro from before comes back when you reinstall, and follows your Apple ID or Google account to a new phone, where the phone’s own backup allows. Switching between iPhone and Android? Bring a BillPlex backup. A fresh install, or a lost phone with no backup, doesn’t bring it back.
Free Pro, and a plan on top
You don’t need one. If you buy a plan anyway, Apple or Google bill it until you cancel it. Your free Pro isn’t lost: it takes over again when the plan ends.
Joining a Pro household
A new phone has Pro from its very first sync, which happens as it joins.
Staying in
Each sync with the main device renews Pro for 30 days. Go longer without one and that phone is on the free plan until it syncs again. Nothing is deleted.
Leaving, or being removed
Your data stays on your phone. The household’s Pro stays for 30 days after your last sync with it, then your phone is on the free plan, unless it has Pro of its own. A plan you bought yourself works again once your phone is the main device of a household of its own.
When the owner stops paying
The household keeps Pro until the paid period ends. The other phones follow at the latest 30 days after their last sync.
Only the main device pays
Nobody else buys anything, and a plan you bought before joining someone else’s household isn’t used there, not even on your phone. A subscription keeps renewing until you cancel it with Apple or Google. The app tells you before you join, so the choice is yours, and BillPlex can’t refund the time it isn’t used. A purchase stays with the App Store or Google Play account it was made on.
